Madagascar has so many different types of animals living in their habitat in the rainforest. One of the most common animals living their are the Lemurs, their are different types of lemurs like the Indri Lemur, Aye-Ay Lemur, Black Lemur and many more exquisite lemur species. Other than the lemurs their are 14 other species living in the island like a Tomato Frog, Mantela Frog, Tenrec, Chameleon, Spear-nosed snake, fossa, Millepede, Sifaka, Comet Moth,Narrow stripe mongoose, Gecko and probably other species that we haven't discovered yet.
Trees
Besides the palm tree, Madagascar has different trees such us the Dragon Tree, Katrafay Tree, Baobabs Tree, Travellers, Killy trees and many more. The tallest tree in Madagascar is the Baobab Tree. The Baobab is a mushroom looking tree it could go up to 15 meters tall, their trunks could be a hiding place for a villager to hide in. A
Climate
Madagascar is aHot Sub-Tropical place but it is cold in mountainous areas. November-April has a wet, hot season. This season is the dryer season as May - October has a higher chance of rain
Plants
Madagascar has exotic and unique plants. This rainforest has a lot of palm trees but they also have a Rosy Periwinkle, Orchids, pitcher plant and many many more. Some of the plants are used as decoration, food or medicine. As and example the Rosy Periwinkle is not just a pretty flower as they are also used as a treatment for Leukimia.
Location
Madagascar is an island located in the south east of Africa and is relatively close to the equator. Madagascar has an approximately 200 centimetres per year which means the area is very humid.
